“Golang for big and small: from complex to low-level tasks”, the first *instinctools meetup in Kazakhstan, took place on July 5th, bringing together more than 100 developers from different countries.
Experts covered Golang trendy topics, shared their experience and answered all the audience questions. Maksadbek Akhmedov, Go Developer and an active participant in Go-direction projects at *instinctools, opened the meetup. Within his “Workflow with Temporal” report, he noted what problems can be solved with the help of Temporal and how leading international companies use the platform.
Alexander Rudyak, Lead Software Engineer at *instinctools, raised the topic of database migrations in Go. The speaker shared common approaches to data migration, commented on the main tools and presented cases from his own experience. Alexander’s topic has collected a large number of questions from our participants.
The Golang meetup was finished by Altynbek Sharipov, Lead Backend Developer of Kazdream and one of the internal Go community leaders in the company. Altynbek shared his experience with Google’s gopacket, discussed the gopacket capabilities for analyzing network traffic and tricks to increase the traffic processing efficiency.
According to the feedback from the attendees, the meeting was useful both for experienced Golang specialists and for those who are considering this language as an alternative.
