This role is not just about describing processes; it’s about “diving deep” into the data to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our finance systems. The Senior System Analyst ensures that automation initiatives deliver measurable efficiency, accuracy, and compliance improvements across key finance processes, supporting the PMO and Finance leaders by translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
Duration of cooperation: 6-12 months+

Ensures data integrity and consistency across all automated finance processes.
2. Business and Process Analysis 2.1. Collects, documents, and validates business requirements from stakeholders, using data to back up business needs. 2.2. Conducts fit-gap analysis for system or process changes, quantifying the impact with data where possible. 2.3. Maps current “as-is” and “to-be” business processes, focusing on the data that flows through each step to identify automation or standardization opportunities. 2.4. Ensures all requirements align with business strategy and compliance standards.
3. Solution Design and Implementation Support 3.1. Translates business and data requirements into detailed functional specifications. 3.2. Cooperates with cross-functional teams (developers, data engineers) to ensure correct implementation and testing. 3.3. Supports UAT (user acceptance testing) planning and execution, using data to validate outcomes and resolve defects. 3.4. Validates implemented solutions against initial requirements and data integrity expectations.
4. Documentation and Stakeholder Communication 4.1. Maintains clear and structured documentation of all requirements, data mappings, changes, and decisions. 4.2. Communicates regularly with key stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues, using data to support status updates.
5. Quality and Continuous Improvement 5.1. Benchmarks best practices in finance process automation. 5.2. Supports post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions with a focus on data quality and process efficiency.
Our expectations of the ideal candidate:
Strong data analysis skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation; experience with Python for data processing and scripting.
Reporting & Visualization: Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Data Engineering Awareness: Familiarity with data pipelines and workflow management (e.g., Airflow).
System Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus) and the data structures within them.
Process Modeling: Skilled in modeling processes and data flows using BPMN, UML, or flowcharts.
Automation Technologies: Familiarity with RPA tools (Power Automate, UiPath) is a plus.
Testing: Knowledge of testing methodologies and UAT coordination.
Tooling: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration tools.
Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of finance processes is a plus, but a willingness to dive into complex data is essential.
