Our team is looking for an Integration Support Engineer  for one of our clients.

Our customer is one of the most prominent Tech Startup, recognized in France and abroad for its technical leadership and its open-source contributions.  It is also a worldwide leader in the space of software defined storage.  Has over 300 customers in more than 30 countries, and they include some of the largest telecom operators and banks in the world, many TV stations, and over 30 hospitals.

About the project: To ensure seamless integration of our products with partner applications, you will be responsible for providing clear configuration guidelines, validating functionality and, where possible, performance, as well as delivering best‑practice recommendations.

Working time zone: CET

Our expectations of the candidate: 

  •  Linux Administration: Strong (Bare-metal, VM, and container environments).
  • Significant understanding of hardware, specially x86 platforms, including RAID‬ architecture and file systems‬
  • Knowledge of High Availability environment (distributed system, load balancing, cloud‬ platforms) and container technologies (docker, kubernetes)‬.
  • Performance Testing & Benchmarking: Strong (measuring throughput, latency, and IOPS).
  • S3 / Object Storage: Intermediate (understanding S3 exposure and testing I/O patterns).
  • Knowledge with Web Servers, Backups, Email, Package Management‬.
  • Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell), Automation (Saltstack, Ansible)‬
  • Hands-on experience in managing people, processes, or tasks.

English: Upper-Intermediate

Nice-to-haves:

  • Hardware / BOM: (validating Supermicro, HPE, and Lenovo configurations)
  • Skills in writing Technical Documentation:(Product Flavors and NVIDIA blueprints

 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Validate interoperability of our customer’s products with the provided partner applications‬
  • Share documentation that can be used by various groups of people‬
  • Configure and interoperate with partner product(s)‬
  • Test to ensure integration passes partner’s validation tests, both functional and‬ performance‬
  • Document best practices for configuration of both our and partner products applications‬
  • Support project management processes with Jira (≈25% of time)
