Our team is looking for a Lead Full-Stack (Python+ React) Developer for one of our clients.

Our Client is one of the TOP-5 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our Client’s proven platform and services.

The Project is a proprietary client’s research platform that leverages GenAI to extract insights from one of the world’s largest transcript libraries of expert interviews (owned by the client). It enables consultants to rapidly access industry expertise, surface key trends, and generate tailored market research reports. In addition to AI-powered search and conversational interfaces, the platform supports on-demand report generation layered with supplemental data sources to support due diligence, investment theses, and client development.

Tech Stack: Python, React, SQL, MongoDB, AWS, Docker

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Lead a small cross-functional team of developers (frontend, backend).
Drive the architecture and implementation of backend services and data workflows.
Guide development standards and enforce best practices in code quality and design.
Backend Development (Primary Focus)
Design, build, and maintain backend services, data pipelines, and API integrations.
Work on data ingestion and transformation pipelines, handling large-scale transcript data.
Optimize database access patterns (SQL + MongoDB) for performance.
Frontend Support (Secondary)
Maintain and extend existing React components.
Collaborate with UX/UI and product to refine conversational interfaces.
Support application deployment and monitoring on AWS.
Work closely with data scientists, product owners, and research consultants to deliver scalable solutions.

Our expectations of the ideal candidate:

Strong experience with Python (Lead level): REST APIs, data pipelines, asynchronous programming, and integrations.
Hands-on experience with SQL and working with both structured and unstructured data.
Experience with React (Mid level): Capable of maintaining and extending existing UIs.
Familiarity with MongoDB and data modeling for flexible schemas.
Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.
Working knowledge of Docker for containerization and deployment.

Will be a plus:

Exposure to GenAI / LLM-powered solutions.
Experience with NLP, semantic search, or transcript/text-based data analysis.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools.

Soft Skills:

Proven experience as a technical team lead: mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, driving architectural decisions.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interface directly with stakeholders and guide the team toward delivery.
Ownership mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
