Our team is looking for a Middle/Senior Data Engineer for one of our clients.

Our customer is one of the TOP-5 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our Client’s proven platform and services.

The project: the focus is on building and maintaining robust data pipelines that collect and process data from multiple enterprise systems such as Jira, GitHub, AWS, ServiceNow, and other cloud infrastructure platforms. The objective is to enable leadership to gain actionable insights aligned with strategic outcomes, and to support product and service teams in targeting the right user groups and measuring the effectiveness of various GenAI productivity initiatives.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Build ingestion pipelines that pull data from AI tools and internal platforms into Snowflake, making program performance measurable for the first time
Maintain and harden the existing Snowflake infrastructure – schemas and tables that grew organically without data engineering input – and bring them up to standard
Deploy work through CI/CD pipelines into Airflow or AWS Glue
Manage access requests as they arrive
Proactively engage with product managers and engineers across the program to understand what data they need next

Our expectations of the candidate:

8+ years of Data Engineering experience
Python – primary language for scripting, API work, and pipeline development
Apache Airflow – for pipeline orchestration; Dagster or Prefect accepted as alternatives
AWS services – especially Glue, Lambda; experience deploying and maintaining production workloads
Apache Spark – for distributed processing, particularly within AWS Glue
Snowflake – preferred data warehouse; Redshift or BigQuery accepted if concepts transfer cleanly
CI/CD pipelines – GitHub Actions or similar; this is how pipelines and scripts are deployed to Airflow and Glue
API experience – consuming third-party APIs and building internal APIs with Python
Git/GitHub – version control, branching strategy, pull request workflow
PostgreSQL or other OLTP databases – for operational data access and integration
Proficiency with AI tools like Cursor
English: Upper-Intermediate

Soft skills:

Highly proactive: ability to figure out who to reach out to and how to get things done independently
Stakeholder management: comfortable interacting with various stakeholders, from senior developers to product managers
Curious mindset: challenges existing processes and looks for continuous improvement
Strong communication: able to have project-related conversations with product managers and other team members
Time management: organized and reliable
