*instinctools is looking for a Middle+/Senior Node.js Developer for one of our clients.

Our Client is a groundbreaking eyewear company revolutionising the optical industry. With numerous offline shops throughout EU, client offers stylish and affordable glasses with a fixed pricing model, ensuring accessibility for everyone. The innovative approach combines fashion with affordability, providing customers with a simplified and transparent eyewear shopping experience.

Stack on the project: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js

Tasks:

Designing, writing, and debugging code.
Developing new features and improvements based on project requirements.
Optimizing performance and working with monitoring and logging systems.
Developing architectural solutions and technical documentation.
Assessing the scalability, reliability, and security of the system.
Writing and executing tests (unit tests, integration tests, performance tests).
Collaborating with other engineers, designers, analysts, and product managers to accomplish tasks.
Conducting code reviews.
Participating in Agile processes (scrum, kanban), task planning, and estimation.

Our expectations of the ideal candidate:

Strong knowledge of Javascript:
Server administration skills (Linux, SSH, systemd, logrotate);
Familiarity with SSH, FTP, SFTP, CRON;
Be ready to use Test Driven Development approach;
Core technologies: NodeJS ,Express, PM2, NVM, MongoDB, Mongoose, Raw driver connection, Redis, Socket.IO, Jest;

Nice to have:

Elasticsearch

Kafka

CI/CD (Github Actions)

English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
