Our team is looking for a QA Analyst for one of our clients.

The project: You will join the Customer’s Technology Ecosystem as a core member of the Tech Compliance and Risk Enablement (TCRE) Product Group — a strategic function focused on delivering technology-enabled solutions that support compliance, risk management, and scalable product operations.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Test Execution & Validation

  • Execute test cases, test scripts, and regression suites to validate product functionality
  • Perform functional, usability, and basic performance testing to identify defects and inconsistencies
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with defined requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Support validation of fixes and re-testing of defects

Defect Identification & Tracking

  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
  • Partner with Sr. QA to triage issues and validate resolutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date defect logs and testing documentation

Support Root Cause Analysis & Insights

  • Assist in analyzing defects and identifying patterns or recurring issues
  • Support the Sr. QA in distinguishing between internal issues and those requiring external/vendor escalation
  • Contribute to documenting learnings and improvements from testing and incidents

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA to understand features and expected behavior
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, retrospectives) and provide testing updates
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues clearly to the team

Test Environment & Data Support

  • Help maintain test environments, test data, and configurations to ensure accurate validation
  • Support setup and execution of test scenarios across environments

Incident & Release Support

  • Assist in monitoring product behavior post-release and flagging issues quickly
  • Support incident triage by gathering information, reproducing issues, and assessing user impact
  • Contribute to release readiness by ensuring key test scenarios are validated

Product & Technical Foundations

  • Basic understanding of digital products and user workflows, including multi-step user journeys
  • Foundational understanding of how web applications or systems work
  • Awareness of front-end vs. back-end interactions (at a high level)
  • Ability to follow and execute test scenarios across environments

Our expectations of the candidate:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role

  • Basic knowledge of QA fundamentals: test cases, test execution, and regression testing

  • Ability to follow structured test plans and identify defects or inconsistencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to clearly document defects with reproducible steps and supporting evidence

  • Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira or similar)

  • Strong organizational skills to maintain clear and up-to-date test documentation

  • Basic understanding of digital products and user workflows, including multi-step journeys

  • General understanding of how web applications work

  • High-level awareness of front-end vs. back-end interactions

  • Ability to execute test scenarios across different environments

English: Advanced

 

Nice to have:

  • Internship or experience working with SaaS or digital products
  • Familiarity with complex workflows or multi-step user journeys
  • Basic understanding of APIs or system integrations
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman or similar (even at a beginner level)
  • Familiarity with or interest in test automation tools
  • Willingness to learn automation over time
  • Interest in working with data, logs, or usage patterns
  • Basic familiarity with Excel, dashboards, or simple data analysis
  • Awareness of AI-powered tools or conversational interfaces
  • Curiosity about how AI systems behave and are tested

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to analyze issues logically and perform basic root cause investigation
  • Curiosity to understand underlying causes of defects, not just identify them
  • Ability to recognize recurring issues and patterns with guidance
