Our team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for one of our clients.

Our customer is a company operating in the geriatrics sector, focused on modernising their infrastructure to improve care delivery through technology.

The project is migrating workloads from on-premises and self-managed cloud servers (Azure) to AWS. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who has led such migrations or has the maturity to handle complex cloud transitions.

Location: European Union, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Armenia (EU time zone).

Technology stack: AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python or Bash

Responsibilities and tasks:

Lead the end-to-end Azure → AWS cloud migration.
Assess on-premises workloads and define lift, shift, and modernisation strategies.
Design and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
Manage containerised workloads on Kubernetes (EKS / AKS) and ECS / Fargate.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability across environments.
Define and enforce security, access control, and compliance standards.
Automate repetitive ops tasks and drive toil reduction.
Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps culture.

Our expectations of the candidate:

5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering.
Proven experience migrating on-prem workloads to cloud.
Deep AWS expertise (hands-on, not just theoretical).
Solid Azure background for migration context.
Production Terraform at scale.
Hands-on with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
ECS / Fargate container orchestration.
Strong scripting skills (Python or Bash).
Security-first mindset across cloud infra
