*instinctools is looking for a Senior Fullstack developer (React+Node) for one of our clients.

About the project: You will be part of a digital products team within a global consulting firm’s operations practice. This team specializes in supporting clients with complex challenges throughout the capital project lifecycle. By combining strategic insights with practical implementation, our consultants and experts work together to develop and apply best practices in project management, portfolio management, organization, and processes to address critical client issues.

The digital products team enhances this support by providing analytics and data-driven insights to consultants and clients, aiding their transformation efforts. This involves sourcing data, building advanced analytics platforms, developing proprietary products, and forming strategic alliances to utilize existing solutions, all aimed at global infrastructure decarbonization and renewal.

Our expectations of the candidate:

Level: Senior/Lead

Understanding of the architectural concepts governing the design of highly scalable and reliable data-driven applications for cloud environments and using cloud-based services and products
Experience in engineering best practices such as: code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, test driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application security and accessibility
5+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience and familiarity with the following: JavaScript (particularly React and Node.js), Python (nice-to-have), Restful APIs writing/using, databases (SQL, NoSQL, cloud-native databases)
Cloud computing knowledge on the major industry players, particularly Microsoft Azure platform, architecture and tools (Azure App Service including Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage including Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2)
Hands-on experience integrating with third party software via API
Knowledge of and experience with Agile software development process
Ability and experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment with technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders at all levels in an organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing client expectations and influence senior technology and business executives on technology decisions

Nice to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Some experience with container orchestration and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes Solutions and the Data Lake will utilize ML and AI capabilities, therefore some experience in this area would be beneficial
Energized by complex problem solving and ability to push the innovation on solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
Participate in team meetings, providing input and feedback on initiatives
