Senior QA Engineer

*instinctools is looking for a Senior QA Engineer.

About the project: GenAI product (personal assistant) that integrates into Slack and other messaging systems.

Tasks:

• develop and maintain the test automation framework and CI/CD practices following a Test-driven prompt engineering approach, with ability to identify biases, discrepancies, errors or irrelevant content across diverse use cases;
  
• support in mitigation product risks by supporting release management procedures, applying defect prevention techniques and evaluating functional and non-funtional quality characteristics;
  
• you’ll work hands-on with data and code as you’ll conduct your own experiments (e.g., prompt engineering, testing of key data science features, trial and error of new potential improvements, etc.), make improvements in the code if needed, perform quality tests;
  
• manage, log and prioritize bugs, ensure the most critical ones are being worked on.

Need to have:

• QA generalist, knows how to build good test coverage, oriented on quality;
• 5+ years in testing;
• 3+ years in automation (Python, Pytest for API testing);
• as bonus – know how GenAI/LLMs work (LangChain is beneficial);
• upper-Intermediate English level (or higher).

• product mindset – rockstar on impact identification for product improvements from business and strong critical thinking required;
• holds their ground, opinionated, not afraid to speak up at any level;
• willing to shift their day if needed (the team is half-and-half split across Europe and US ET).
