Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Our team is looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) for one of our clients.

Our Client is one of the TOP-5 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our Client’s proven platform and services.

Project It’s a feature-rich, fast-performing web application that uses multiple company data microservices to deliver summarized and clean data, aiming to minimize single points of failure. The platform has customized permissions, allowing different users (both inside and outside of the client) to see layouts adjusted to their expertise. It also offers the possibility to export data in various formats like Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF, and supports different screen sizes. The project provides immediate access to reliable financial, investor, operating, and employee data, value creation analyses, and performance benchmarking for a vast number of public and private companies. It curates, standardizes, and cleans data from multiple sources and creates insights using client’s proprietary frameworks and methodologies.

Working time zone: CET, with at least 4 hours of overlap with the US East Coast time zone.

Responsibilities:

• Manual testing of user scenarios, UI/UX components, and visual styles (~75% of the time).

• Automation testing using an existing framework (~25% of the time).

• Requirement analysis and test case design.

• Logging and prioritizing defects; collaboration with the development team.

• Maintaining and expanding the current CI setup (Cypress in GitHub Actions) for new feature coverage.

• Performing backend validation via log analysis and REST API.

Need to have:

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing with a strong focus on visual/UI testing.
• Attention to detail and a “user-eye” mindset when evaluating quality.
• Solid experience with cross-browser testing and accessibility standards (ADA).
• At least 1 year of experience in test automation using JavaScript (primarily with Cypress).
• Basic knowledge of Selenium for UI regression testing.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and log analysis for backend validation.
• Experience working with Maven and CI/CD environments.
• upper-Intermediate English level (or higher).
