Our team is looking for a Senior QA Engineer for one of our clients.
Our customer is one of the TOP-5 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our client’s proven platform and services.
The project is a tech‑enabled platform within the client’s investment advisory practice, designed to provide deal teams with a head‑start on industry knowledge and target due diligence. You will join a global engineering squad working on a high‑impact product used across the entire investment lifecycle.
We work with modern automation frameworks (Selenium/Cucumber), Python, REST APIs, SQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines. Our environment encourages quality ownership, technical excellence, and close collaboration with product managers and developers.
Location: India (office work from Noida)
Working time zone: From 11 am till 8 pm IST
Responsibilities and tasks:
Strategy & Planning: Define comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
Automation Development: Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium).
Manual Testing: Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
API & Backend Testing: Validate RESTful APIs and backend systems using tools like Postman.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub action).
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using
Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
Our expectations of the candidate:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
Testing & Automation
Automation Frameworks – Deep hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
Programming Languages – Strong coding skills in Python or JavaScript.
API Testing – Expertise in testing REST APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Database Testing – Ability to write SQL queries to validate data integrity.
Version Control & CI/CD – Proficiency with Git and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Manual & Full Lifecycle Testing
Manual testing is mandatory
Proven experience with:
Automating new features using existing frameworks
Manual testing of new features before automation
Regression testing for bi‑weekly production releases
Sanity / post‑deployment testing
Process & Collaboration
Proven ability to work in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
