Our team is looking for a Senior Full-Stack QA Engineer for one of our clients.

Our customer is a global mobility and urban services platform that allows users to book rides or other services and negotiate the fare directly with the service provider. It offers a variety of services including ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance, operating in over 700 cities across 47 countries and is the second most downloaded mobility app in the world.

Project duration: 6-7 months (extension possible)

Responsibilities and tasks:

Design and maintain test cases / test suites for product features.
Participate in agile practices (discovery, refinement, decomposition, sprint planning, demos).
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for APIs and mobile UI (iOS and Android). Implement shift-left testing practices.
Build and maintain test frameworks and tools for QA engineers, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Ensure the reliability of testing infrastructure.
Work with TechOps and other teams to implement quality management processes and improve testing workflows.
Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with backend and mobile developers to prevent regressions.
Track quality metrics in Jira/Tableau, automate routine tasks. Advocate for testability. Mentor QA team members.

Our expectations of the candidate:

More than 5 years of experience in functional testing and test automation, including mobile application testing and automation.
Recent hands-on experience with both functional and automated testing.
Proficiency in API testing (Postman or similar), database operations (CRUD), and basic command-line tools (bash/zsh).
Proficiency in mobile testing (iOS and Android, including emulators, traffic sniffing, and OS-specific testing).
Proficiency in Kotlin.
Solid understanding of mobile platforms, client-server architecture, and network protocols.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), version control (Git), and test management practices. Ability to read and reason about backend and frontend code to pinpoint defects accurately.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate coding, testing, and code review workflows.

English: Intermediate or higher

Highly proactive – ability to figure out who to reach out to and how to get things done independently.
Stakeholder management – comfortable interacting with various stakeholders, from senior developers to product managers.
Curious mindset – challenges existing processes and looks for continuous improvement.
Strong communication – able to have project-related conversations with product managers and other team members.
